Our Journey
Vanity Furr Grooming and Training Centre was first established in 2019. Maxine has extensive knowledge in the Equine Industry but decided to have a career change into the Canine world. Maxine loves all dogs, shapes, and sizes.
Over the last couple of years, Maxine has grown her knowledge and has completed her City and Guilds Level 2 Bathing Assistant and City and Guilds Level 3 in Dog Grooming. She has also recently completed the iPET Network Level 4 Higher Diploma in Dog Grooming.
Industry Expertise
As a tutor, assessor and IQA, Maxine has great knowledge of the industry and wants to pass this on to her clients and students. Maxine loves to teach students and owners how to groom their dogs to industry standards and pet trims.
Meet Ella
Ella joined the team in October 2024 after studying with Maxine to gain her Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming & Salon Management. Ella is passionate about all types of dogs and loves grooming the wool coat breeds.
Ella is a key player here at Vanity Furr, and she will continue to grow her knowledge and understanding of our industry. Ella has recently completed her PTTLS, enabling her to help teach and deliver courses here at Vanity Furr. Ella loves to learn and in the New Year will start her Level 4 Higher Diploma in Dog Grooming.

Vanity Furr is a modern salon, catering for all breeds of dogs. We have two Hydro baths and air conditioning for those hot months. We use top-of-the-range natural shampoos and equipment. Maxine specialises in hand scissoring and breed-standard grooms.
Tailored Dog Grooming
Vanity Furr offers a range of services to suit each owner’s needs, from breed-standard grooms to pet trims. With Maxine’s extensive knowledge and experience, a high-quality groom is paramount, and all dogs’ welfare comes first.
We also provide one-to-one grooming for dogs who need that extra space and quiet environment (available during the first and last appointments of the day).
